Early Life and Education
Rev. Lee Chang Sun began his academic pursuit in the philosophy of religion at the Methodist Theological University in South Korea, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in 2002. His passion for ministry and theological studies led him to continue his education at the same institution, achieving a Master of Divinity in 2006. Driven by a desire to deepen his understanding and effectiveness in ministry, he later pursued a Doctor of Ministry degree at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington D.C., USA, graduating in 2021.
Missionary Work
In 2006, Rev. Lee embarked on his mission in the southern Philippines, starting with service at Methodist colleges in Kidapawan City. His work in the region was characterized by dedication to educational and spiritual growth, helping to nurture and guide the local community through his teachings and support.
In 2008, Rev. Lee took on a new role as a missionary at Bishop Han Theological Seminary, where he continues to serve to this day. His role at the seminary involves both teaching and guiding future leaders, contributing to the development of a robust theological foundation for the region.
In addition to his work at the seminary, Rev. Lee is actively involved in humanitarian efforts through his supervision of the Do Dream Children Center in Davao City. This organization focuses on assisting Kopino children—Korean-Filipino children who often face unique challenges due to their mixed heritage. Under his supervision, the World Human Bridge provides vital support and resources to help these children thrive.
