BHTS envisions a theological institution that molds Church workers (Clergy and Lay Leaders) to be mission -oriented, Biblically and Theologically competent, and Scholars of church growth
Mission
BHTS is committed to developing dedicated Clergy and Lay Leaders vested with the passion to preach, evangelize, interpret the Gospel of Jesus Christ, transform lives, plant and organize churches, and demonstrate the passion for peace building for productive living, community, and nation building.
Goal
BHTS aims to equip indigenous Christian leaders in their context who are called not only to church planting or church-based ministry but also to diverse ministries such as music, mission to cultural minorities, ecology, urban and rural poor, the sick and troubled, overseas workers and their families, fishing and farming communities, justice and peace endeavors, the youth, drug dependents, street children, orphans, prisoners and handicapped among other mission fields in response to the Great Commission and application of Holistic Salvation drawn from the Wesleyan heritage through John Wesley’s mission code “The World is My Parish”
